• Go to Settings

• Scroll down to “Mail, Contact, Calendars”

• Select the email account to be modified

• Scroll down and tap on “Outgoing Mail ”

• If no is configured, tap on “Add ”

• Enter the details: Hostname (SMTP.xyz.com), Username (email address) and Password

• A “Save” button comes up on top right

• The iPhone will take around 30 to 60 seconds to try and verify the SMTP

• Most likely an error will occur, ignore this and click OK and tap on save button again

• You are asked if you want to save it

• Click on “Save” option

• A list of SMTP is visible. Select the one that you created

• Go back by clicking on SMTP button
